This is a beautiful 1970 GTO finished in Palladium Silver with a Black interior and Black power top. It is one of just 1,242 manual shift convertibles built for the model year. This is a console shift 3-speed example that was also factory ordered with air conditioning (it would be interesting to find out how many had a/c), power steering, power brakes, remote mirror, safe-t-track rear, rally 2 wheels, radio, clock, and the soft-ray windshield. It looks to have been very well cared for and the miles at 50,318 are correct. The car is wonderful on the road and is currently Pennsylvania safety inspected through the end of May 2011. It is very true to form and is quite stock. There is an aftermarket stereo mounted in the glove box and some speakers that have been added but otherwise it must have looked just like this when it came off the line. We found just a few things to mention that do not work and they are the clock, AM radio, and the hvac fan does not run on the highest position. We also heard an exhaust leak when accelerating that is coming from a manifold so a gasket might be in order. So many of these cars have been butchered, wrecked, modified or have had engine transplants. We do have the complete set of PHS documents as well. NOT THIS ONE!
